Nice! It's such a simple recipe but Buf and Henry love those treats :)

I did the exact same workout

I did the exact same workout just a couple days ago Dave. Pushing a lawnmower around for 4 hours is a workout, don't let anyone else tell you different!

Ya they're a wee bit bland, but our boys seem to love them :)

Hooray! You finally commented! Nice job on the aerobics DVD. And the stairs is a great addition to your walk. Being an "oldie" is not excuse, you're only as old as you feel ;)Glad you enjoyed the Nutrition Label episode. We hope to hear more from you!

Walked 5 km. I bought some brown rice flour and I'm going to try the dog cookie recipe to see if Maxi likes them.

Today's activity was again

Today's activity was again limited to lawn-mowing, which is actually just about as good of a workout as anything else I do if judging by gallons of sweat. :)

The last time I ate a dog

The last time I ate a dog cookie...? I don't think I have. I don't have any pet's..:( But they do sound good. Today I walked 5 miles uptown and back. Boy it was hot out! Tomorrow should be a long and active day!

I am late posting my comment

I am late posting my comment but on Wednesdays while Brendan is golfing I usually work around the house. This week I took out an aerobics DVD and exercised for 1 hour. The other days of the week we have been walking in the mall because it is too hot out for the oldies. However, this week we added stairs to our usual indoor walk.Loved your episode about reading labels. In this house as you know we have to be very aware of sodium and I do read labels but I learned what else I should be looking for. Well done!!

Our planned activity for the

Our planned activity for the day will be an evening trip to the beach. The family and I enjoy walking in the sand along the water and looking for sand dollars. A little low key but relaxing to get us settled for the weekend. Hummm, the last time I ate a dog treat. 17 years ago, maybe. I resuced an australian blue heeler (named Apache) mix from a box in front of a video store when I was 16 and brought him home. I am sure at some point my siblings and I had to have tried one of his treats. I think the youngest brother thought they were cookies. Apache is still alive and well and living with my mother. I went back to get him after bootcamp but she could not part with him. Following hurricane Katrina, she and my dad adopted three other dogs. Apache is right where he needs to be. Thanks for the recipie, I will be sure to pass it along to them.
