Wow that's intense. Have you found eliminating those things helpful?I'll take a closer look at that site, thanks for sharing!
No problem! Nice variety on the workout. Keep it up!
Yes we can get calcium from so many different veggies, nuts and seeds. Nice workout, well done!
Hmmm, I try to avoid vitamin-Plastic. ;)
Nice job Jessica!
Oh no! That's sucks Jo. And yes, it definitely counts. I've been there and done that.Stay dry.
Nice job Diane! I'm curious to know how your legs feel today?
Nice Claire! Yes, the dark greens and beans are great sources of calcium.
Congrats Aimee, you've won a set of Lebert Stretch Straps!
Awesome! Thanks for the info. The figs were a new one for me too. I'll have to pick some up tomorrow.
Since you were wondering, aside from the gluten-free thing that you already know about, the list of things I've eliminated from my diet for the past 8 months are; all forms of dairy, eggs, peanuts, hazelnuts, asparagus, garlic, pineapple, bananas, cranberries, baker's yeast, and soybeans. It's all from this food intolerance/allergy blood test I had after getting an IBS diagnosis: http://www.rmalab.com/index.php?id=18
Exercise-wise, I took it a bit easier today, just did 2 30 minute walks, one at work, and one with the dog when I got home. Thanks again for the tips!
Great information, right there! Thank you for that. I had no idea! My calcium intake would come from, the usual milk, cheese, yogurt but also beans, broccoli and figs. My workout today was 30 mins on treadmill (walk/jog) and 15 mins swimming/arobics
Wow! I had no idea that half of those things had calcium in them. Thanks for the info. I mostly get my calcium from yogurt and cottage cheese but I also love broccoli and spinach. Today I ran 5 km on the treadmill and then did a half hour of a "gym" workout.
So what you're saying is Flintstone's vitamins are out??
Walked 5 miles today... My calcium from soy milk and tofu..... Yum!
I just read your fb update and thought to myself.... I haven't made time for a workout yet. Then I realized I spent all night baling water out of my basement! Surely that must count?!
7km walk with Erik & 443 squats in 10 minutes. I get my calcium mostly from yogurt, cheese & milk.
35 mins on the treadmill and 45 mins of strength training. My calcium comes from tofu and soy milk mostly.
Thanks for the info. I had no idea about the figs or apricots. I usually get my calcium from soy milk, almond milk, and tofu. I also eat a lot of spinach, broccoli and chick peas (garbanzo beans).
