Awesome! Thanks for the info. The figs were a new one for me too. I'll have to pick some up tomorrow.
Since you were wondering, aside from the gluten-free thing that you already know about, the list of things I've eliminated from my diet for the past 8 months are; all forms of dairy, eggs, peanuts, hazelnuts, asparagus, garlic, pineapple, bananas, cranberries, baker's yeast, and soybeans. It's all from this food intolerance/allergy blood test I had after getting an IBS diagnosis: http://www.rmalab.com/index.php?id=18
Exercise-wise, I took it a bit easier today, just did 2 30 minute walks, one at work, and one with the dog when I got home. Thanks again for the tips!
Great information, right there! Thank you for that. I had no idea! My calcium intake would come from, the usual milk, cheese, yogurt but also beans, broccoli and figs. My workout today was 30 mins on treadmill (walk/jog) and 15 mins swimming/arobics
Wow! I had no idea that half of those things had calcium in them. Thanks for the info. I mostly get my calcium from yogurt and cottage cheese but I also love broccoli and spinach. Today I ran 5 km on the treadmill and then did a half hour of a "gym" workout.
I just read your fb update and thought to myself.... I haven't made time for a workout yet. Then I realized I spent all night baling water out of my basement! Surely that must count?!
Thanks for the info. I had no idea about the figs or apricots. I usually get my calcium from soy milk, almond milk, and tofu. I also eat a lot of spinach, broccoli and chick peas (garbanzo beans).
